Super Gerber

A method of ace asking for use in awkward situations:

• when a minor-suit fit has been established, a jump to four of the cheapest unbid suit asks for aces;
• when partner's last bid was 3NT, a bid of four of the cheapest unbid suit asks for aces (but if all suits have been bid, then 5 asks for aces.)

In both cases, the responses to the ace asking bid are similar to Gerber, i.e., in successive steps. Thus:

• step 1 shows zero or four aces;
• step 2 shows one ace;
• step 3 shows two aces;
• step 4 shows three aces.

To ask for kings, asker must repeat the suit used to ask for aces.
